Urban Form and Character

Urban Form and Character of Santa Rosa, 2000-2015

The SLEX divides the whole of Santa Rosa into southwest and northeast section.

The Northeast section consists of the town proper and is bounded by Laguna Lake on the eastern side. Human settlements are located along Rizal Boulevard and its inner municipal roads with mass housing subdivisions and coastal lake barangays situated within and/or outside the LLDA 12.5 meters elevation.

The Southwest section character is mainly industrial-commercial-residential where the industrial estates, economic zones and other high-end residential subdivisions are very prominently established. A more organized, well-planned and efficient pattern of growth can be observed in the southwest than in the northeast.
